Levent Canen was born in 1984 in Istanbul. He started music with bağlama at a young age. He learned rhythm guitar and drums in the courses he attended in his high school years, accompanied various groups at their concerts with these instruments. In 2002, he won Yıldız Technical University Faculty of Art and Design Music Communities Department. He studied bağlama lessons from Erol Parlak and Erdal Erzincan . His interest in bass guitar and sound recording technologies led him to other areas of music.
During his university education, he made researches on different disciplines such as music technologies, sound design, arrangement, photography, video and body music, and took lessons. He organized workshops on “body music” in the Alaca Performance Arts performance group and took part in various shows of the group. He composed the music of the 'From the Sea' dance show staged in 2010.
He started to work at Utopya Music in 2011, where he took place in dozens of albums as instrumentalist, arranger and director, and made mix and mastering. He also taught bağlama, bass guitar, rhythm guitar and percussion lessons here and in many institutions. In 2013, he graduated from university with the main themed performance presentation of 'Zeybekler' which he performed with bağlama. In 2015, he started his master's degree education at Haliç University Institute of Social Sciences, Turkish Music Master Program in Turkish Music.
During this period, he made seminars and presentations on "Body Music and Body Coordination", "Voice Recording Technology", "The Effect of Development in Music Technology on Music Styles". He completed his master's education with his thesis on 'Vibration of Bass Frequencies with Hearing Impaired and Rhythm Teaching Method'.
